About the Please Select Player meme template
Red velvet curtains, a checkerboard border, and a glowing yellow arrow pointing down at a row of pixel-art characters waiting to be picked — this is the ultimate "who's it gonna be" moment. The blocky PLEASE SELECT PLAYER text and the EXTRA LIFE counter scream retro arcade cabinet, the kind of screen that used to make an entire school hallway argue over who got to be which character.
It's perfect for any lineup joke: coworkers before a meeting, roommates before a chore gets assigned, or friend group archetypes at a party. Swap in your own labels for the arrow and the characters, hit the EXTRA LIFE line for a punchline, and you've got an instant nostalgia meme. Caption it and download free.
