About the Wide eyed jesus meme template
Normal, serene religious statue in one panel, then the camera zooms in and suddenly it's staring directly into your soul with saucer-wide eyes. That jump from peaceful to unhinged is the whole joke, and it works for basically any before/after realization.
Use it for the moment someone seems totally fine and then you find out what they actually think, or for any 'calm exterior, screaming internally' situation. It's a workhorse two-panel reaction template.
