This is Reepicheep, the tiny, fearless, sword-brandishing mouse from The Chronicles of Narnia, standing on his hind legs in the forest and staring down a human like he's about to demand satisfaction. The default caption has him unimpressed that someone brought him something 'a little more original' than expected, and that deadpan disappointment energy is exactly why this template works.
Use it any time someone hands you the most predictable, copy-paste idea imaginable and you need a tiny, armed woodland creature to express your disgust for you. Rehashed movie sequels, recycled excuses, a coworker's 'new' idea that's just the old plan with a different font, this mouse has had enough. Small in size, enormous in judgment.
