About the Elf On A Shelf meme template
This is the setup half of the internet's favorite bait-and-switch format: a plain, serious-looking statement that promises something is about to escalate. It works because the deadpan delivery makes even the dumbest punchline land harder.
Drop in any familiar reference on top, then hit them with something completely unhinged on the bottom. Works for fandom jokes, workplace absurdity, or just introducing your terrible new nickname for something mundane.
