About the Excellence Prize Statue meme template
That over-the-top golden, jeweled, winged trophy screeching its lungs out is the Excellence Prize Statue from The Simpsons — the absurdly extravagant award Mr. Burns handed out in one of his competitions. It's become shorthand for facing an opponent so ridiculously overpowered that even the trophy is losing its mind.
Use it whenever you're up against something absurdly out of your league: a rival team, a coworker, a Tinder match with a suspiciously perfect bio. Drop your own text up top and let the shrieking gold statue do the rest.
