About the Tumblr Angel meme template
A guy makes a wish on a shooting star, and out of nowhere a glowing, golden-haired angel descends to answer the call. For one glorious panel it looks like the universe delivered — she's practically wrapped around him. Then she flies off and all he's left holding is a blank sheet of paper, sipping his coffee like nothing happened.
It's the perfect template for any "got my hopes up for nothing" moment: the promise versus the delivery, the hype versus the anticlimax. Drop your own before/after text into the panels and let the blank paper do the punchline.
