About the Richard Watterson Smug meme template
That's Richard Watterson, the laziest dad in The Amazing World of Gumball, caught in an extreme close-up with his eyes narrowed, teeth bared, and glasses glinting under ominous red lighting. It's the face of a man who just had a terrible idea and is fully committed to it anyway.
The dramatic lighting turns a normally goofy cartoon dad into something that reads like a horror-movie reveal, which is exactly why it works as a reaction template. Drop your own text on it and use it for that moment someone's confidence wildly outpaces their competence, or when a plan is clearly about to go sideways.
