About the T-Rex Trying To Explain meme template
This is the classic Oatmeal strip where a T-Rex takes the mic to make some grand, impassioned point — and the dinosaur crowd at the tables just isn't having it. Confidence in panel one and two, dead silence and side-eye in panel three.
It's the go-to template for "I had a great argument in my head and then said it out loud and it landed terribly." Any confidently wrong take, any joke that bombs, any hot take nobody asked for — this fits.
