About the Robin Hood Beggar Disguise meme template
Foxy, floppy-hatted, and holding out a battered tin cup, this is Robin Hood mid-disguise from Disney's 1973 classic — playing the pitiful blind beggar to smooth-talk coins (and information) out of Prince John's guards. The dark glasses, the hunched shoulders, the extended cup: it is the universal pose of someone shamelessly asking for a handout.
Use it any time you or someone you know is reduced to groveling for scraps — begging for a raise, a like, a returned text, or just one more crumb of anything. The disguise never fooled anyone in the movie either, which is half the joke.
