About the The Accolade Knighting meme template
This is Edmund Leighton's famous painting The Accolade — a queen tapping a kneeling knight on the shoulder with a sword to officially make him a knight. It's basically the medieval version of a promotion ceremony, and the internet has been using it for exactly that ever since.
Swap in any "official title bestowed" moment: getting knighted into a friend group, being crowned the office coffee runner, or finally earning the respect of your cat. Formal, dramatic, and secretly hilarious with the right caption.
