About the just my imagination meme template
Five sharp-dressed men, one white staircase set, and a song title that doubles as the universal excuse for getting your hopes up over nothing: "Just My Imagination." This freeze-frame of The Temptations mid-performance is basically a visual synonym for wishful thinking, so it works any time reality and fantasy part ways in your head.
Use it for the gap between what you hoped would happen and what actually did — the text reply that was never coming, the raise that stayed imaginary, the person who was never that into you. The template box is empty, so bring your own delusion.
