About the If i ignore it, maybe it will go away meme template
This is Bob Wilson from the classic Twilight Zone episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet," eyes squeezed shut on a plane while a gremlin snarls at the window right behind him. Nobody else can see it, nobody believes him, and closing his eyes clearly isn't making it disappear.
It's the ultimate denial meme: the problem is huge, ugly, and staring right at you, but if you just don't look at it, surely it'll sort itself out. Use it for deadlines, unread emails, weird noises in the car, or literally anything you're pretending isn't happening.
