About the Hello Old Friend meme template
A four-panel black and white comic strip depicting a person's evolving relationship with television remotes. In the 'THEN' panels, the person discards a clunky old remote, stating, 'I don't need you anymore pal.' In the 'NOW' panels, after using a modern, sleeker remote with a flat-screen TV, the person retrieves the old remote from a box, exclaiming, 'Hello old friend!' This reflects a common sentiment of nostalgic appreciation for older, simpler technology, even after adopting newer alternatives.
