About the fingers crossed meme template
This kid is putting every ounce of her being into wishing for something — eyes shut, face scrunched, both hands crossed like she's channeling every superstition she's ever heard of at once. There's no subtlety here, just pure, desperate hope.
Use it for anything you're praying works out: waiting on test results, hoping the package arrives on time, hoping nobody notices what you did. It's the universal face of "please, PLEASE let this go my way."
