About the Mao Zedong Comparison meme template
Two nearly identical black-and-white portraits of Mao Zedong, stacked with a big blank margin on the left just begging for text. It's the classic 'looks the same but actually different' setup, except here the setup does zero work for you — the joke is entirely in what you write.
Great for hypocrisy call-outs, 'this but slightly worse' jokes, or any bit where two things that appear identical are secretly not the same at all. The formality of the portrait makes it funnier when the caption is something completely mundane or petty.
