About the baby first words meme template
Everyone builds up the moment: the baby is about to say its first word, mom is leaning in with a hopeful little smile, and then... the payoff panel is just a blank, awkward stare. That gap between the setup and the deadpan non-event is the whole joke, and it works for absolutely any anticlimax you've lived through.
Use it for the meeting that got hyped for a week and then said nothing new, the software update that promised big changes and shipped a font tweak, or the friend who says 'wait, I have to tell you something' and then forgets. Drop your own words into that empty last panel and let the disappointment speak for itself.
